
When we look up at something, we feel its enormity relative to our vantage point. When looking down at something, we feel superior in scale.
Applying this to sports photography or even portraits, to amplify the significance of the subject or the action, get down low and shoot up at the subject.
Do the reverse when the opposite effect is desired.
